Marketplace Rules

This document is a draft pending legal review.

Operating entity: to be confirmed.

These rules describe how invitations, offers, agreements, content and payment records work between brands, agencies and creators on MOWJ, and what the platform does and does not do.

1Purpose

The rules exist so that both sides know what to expect. They sit alongside the Terms of Service. If the two differ, the Terms of Service apply.

2Who may take part

Creators, brands and agencies may take part. Everyone must give accurate information about themselves and, for organizations, about the organization and the people authorised to act for it.

3Profiles and discovery

  • Only creators who choose to make their profile public appear in public pages. Search inside the platform returns only creators who have a profile here.
  • Audience numbers are entered by creators and labelled creator-reported. They must be honest and should be kept up to date.
  • Fake profiles, impersonation and invented metrics are not allowed.
  • Records marked as demo data are synthetic and are never real creators, brands or campaigns.

4Invitations and negotiation

A brand invites a creator with a summary, requested deliverables, dates, proposed compensation, usage rights and exclusivity. The creator can show interest, decline, ask a question or counter.

Offers are made in numbered versions with structured terms. No version is overwritten, so the history of a negotiation stays visible. Keeping the negotiation on the platform keeps the record complete. Terms agreed elsewhere are not recorded unless someone adds them.

5Agreements

When an offer is accepted in the platform, the agreed terms are recorded as an agreement that cannot be edited. This is a record, not an electronic signature. Either party can upload a document that the parties signed separately.

The platform does not draft, review or enforce the terms between the parties.

6Content and approvals

Creators submit content for each deliverable. Brands review it, comment, request changes or approve, within the time the parties agreed. Every revision is kept. Nothing should be published until the agreed approval has been given.

7Publication and measurement

Creators record the publication link, time, platform and evidence. Results are recorded against the deliverable and every metric carries a source label. Do not report a number as better supported than it is.

8Payments and fees

The brand pays the creator directly, outside the platform, and the payment status is recorded with a reference or receipt. The platform does not hold funds.

Marketplace campaigns carry a standard platform fee of 10% unless a different policy is shown before you commit. Only the platform fee can be paid online, through a payment gateway's hosted checkout.

9Arrangements that continue outside the platform

The rules for arrangements that begin on the platform and continue outside it are to be confirmed by counsel and the business, and will be stated here once confirmed.

10Verification and trust

Email, identity and organization registration states are tracked and reviewed by platform staff. A verification state is information, not an endorsement. We do not integrate with government identity systems.

11Enforcement

If a rule is broken, we may ask for a correction, remove content, restrict features or suspend an account. Serious or repeated breaches can lead to permanent removal.

12Disagreements

If a brand and a creator cannot resolve a disagreement directly, see the Dispute Process.
